Your Own Domain for Links — Yes, It's Worth It

Why Your Own Domain Matters

Think about it — every link you share is a tiny advertisement for your brand. When someone sees k2v.pro/xyz123 versus links.yourcompany.com/xyz123, which one looks more professional?

The custom domain version signals that you're established. That you invested in your brand. That you're not going anywhere.

Setting It Up (Easier Than You'd Think)

1. Get a Domain

You don't need a new domain for your main website — just a simple one for links. Something like links.yourbrand.com or go.yourbrand.com works great. They're usually around $10-15/year.

2. Connect It to K2V

Go to Dashboard > Domains > Add Domain. Enter your new domain. K2V will give you some DNS records to add.

3. Add the DNS Records

Log into wherever you bought your domain (Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare — whatever you used) and add the CNAME records K2V provides. This usually takes 5-30 minutes to propagate.

4. Verify

Come back to K2V, click Verify, and you're done!

The Payoff

From now on, every link you create can use your custom domain. Your links look professional, people trust them more, and your brand gets exposure every single time.
